Bhavna has amazing talent! My bridal henna was beautiful. Working with Bhavna was a pleasure. She's kind and attentive to all details. She understands exactly what a bride wants for her special day and makes you feel exclusive. Due to COVID I decided to do my mehndi one on one and she went from a stranger to a friend in minutes. It was a very enjoyable experience to prepare for my wedding. I look forward to working with her for other henna applications.

’ve worked with Bhavna for years helping adorn families and guests on their special occasions. For so long, I’ve watched her create countless uniquely breathtaking designs for her brides, one more beautiful than the next.  Every line is meticulously thought out. Every pattern and paisley has meaning.  Every important detail of the couple’s journey is represented in the art. Even as a professional henna artist, it has always blown my mind that she is able to create such significant and intricate details with the push of a henna cone. Bhavna spends hours making each bride’s piece a quilt of henna love. 
On another note, Bhavna’s become so much more to me than just a person in the henna community.  She has become a sister in spirit.  Bhavna has helped me through some super dark days, by supporting me with her sisterhood.  She and her family have made me feel like a part of their tribe.  For this reason, I will always be grateful for henna.  Without it, I would have never met Bhavna.
Recently, I was gifted a very special bridal session with my soul sis for my union of love.  Bhavna designed my bridal mehndi with just a few questions answered and notes taken.  I even asked her to represent herself in the design. What I got was beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined.  I got a dancing salsa couple, a traditional bride and groom, and this was just the start. Every time I thought the design couldn’t get better, it grew exponentially in awesomeness.  It truly was a whole experience. 
Bhavna’s system is meticulous. She is well-versed on how to make sure a bride is comfortable and taken care of.  She gifts you with a lovely package that has aftercare help in it to ensure your henna stain gets dark and glorious….which it does. I mean…..so dark!!!!!!!!  Bhavna even includes a cute water cup with a straw which helps so much when your hands are covered in henna! I’m tellin’ ya’ll!!! She thinks of everything!!!  
A whole experience. And then some.

Loved every part of the process working with Bhavna. She is so sweet and creative, and did everything she could to make sure I was happy with the final product. She gave great design suggestions, and happily incorporated every idea I had for my henna. Not only are her designs beautiful and unique, she is very easy to talk to. This is very important because applying henna takes a lot of time, and we were able to pass time easily by chatting. I would gladly choose Bhavna again if/when I need henna in the future. First of all, if I could give Bhavna more than 5 stars, I would. She was so incredible to work with for my elopement earlier this month! The process was seamlessly done via email, and we arranged for her to come to my home - masks in place for all parties of course. I was not quite sure what to expect but Bhavna came prepared with everything she could need, made sure I was comfortable the whole time and even brought a new water bottle with a straw for me so I could stay hydrated during the lengthy process of bridal henna.

I had a few ideas of designs I wanted but after seeing her work, I let her lead the way. We discussed some particulars of what I liked and wanted incorporated in the designs and let her decide the rest. Her work is impeccable and the detail is beyond anything I have ever seen. My relatives in India commented on my photos, saying they cannot even get such good, detailed henna work done in Delhi, let alone anywhere else in India.

She provided me with a care bag which included instructions on how to care for the henna post application and beyond, homemade balm to apply on the stain, and gauze to wrap my hands and feet in when I slept. She left no stone unturned when it came to making sure my henna was perfect for my wedding day - and it was! Just make sure to follow her instructions. I could not recommend her enough if you are looking for bridal henna (or henna period)!

Oh also, she is the sweetest person ever! A joy to be around for hours :).

I met Bhavna Naik several years ago when I wanted to learn how to do mehendi as a hobby- I loved her work and her unique style of teaching so when I got engaged, I knew that I would want Bhavna to be my mehendi artist. She scheduled a consultation with me a few months before the wedding to get to know my husband and my story and find ways to incorporate elements of things that were important to us or told our story. On the day of the appointment, she arrived on time and provided instructions for after-care including leaving behind all the equipment I would need to make sure I had the best possible mehendi stain for my wedding day. Working with Bhavna Naik was awesome- she is very quick to respond to any questions or concerns, is very professional and really finds ways to incorporate each couple's personal story in her art. My mehendi was so intricate- I had people around the world wanting to know who my artist was and how amazing the stain looked. I knew Bhavna's work was amazing (just look at her instagram!), but I was particularly blown away by her kindness, flexibility, and patience. Prior to applying the mehndi, Bhavna worked with me to create a customized design that perfectly reflected my personality and relationship with my husband.
On the actual mehndi day, Bhavna came well-prepared. She is a true expert and knew when to give me a break, how to keep me hydrated, and what it took to get the best results - all important things for a fidgety person like me! She used high-quality, natural henna and gave a homemade balm to enhance the color. Needless to say, the end result was absolutely perfect.

Just completed our Hindu-Catholic wedding weekend where Bhavna hosted our Mehndi night as well as being responsible for my bride’s henna. Without comparison, simply AMAZING. On my bride, it was personalized to the story of our relationship, intricate with detail down to the millimeters. AND, she works so quickly! All of my relatives and friends enjoyed their personal designs at the Mehndi as well (and they’re not Indian)! Without reservation, would recommend for any Indian wedding function as well as for any event in which you’d love a personal intimate touch of Indian culture to. Worth. Every. Cent.

My experience with Bhavna was amazing. She was incredibly professional from the beginning, but once I met her, she immediately felt like a friend.
Like most girls, I grew up dreaming about my wedding, but what I dreamt about the most, was my mehndi. I knew I wanted an amazing artist and I didn't think twice about hiring Bhavna. She was actually the first vendor I locked down for my wedding. She is unbelievably talented and has the perfect recipe to help any bride come up with a custom design for her mehndi. I highly recommend setting up a consultation with her to make sure you get exactly what you want, because she will make it happen.
My mehndi took around 7 hours to apply. And Bhavna came prepared! She had a space heater to keep me warm, an aftercare kit, and even a water bottle with a straw because she knew I needed to stay hydrated and that I couldn't use my hands. My design came out darker than ever and stayed for over three weeks. I still wish I had it on me now.
Bhavna also did mehndi for my mom and family members. Everyone was so happy with their designs. I would highly recommend Bhavna for anyone getting married in the DMV area.

Hiring Bhavna to do my bridal henna was the best decision!! 
From the very first meeting, I was so impressed. I had no idea how much effort and planning she puts into each Henna design until my initial design consult with her - she truly makes the henna design process so meaningful and personal. She incorporated elements from my life story into the design which made the design so sentimental.
She is professional, yet so sweet and easy to work with. She is genuine, easy to talk to, and it is clear how much she cares about the happiness of her brides. Thank you so much for the amazing workshop. I have learned so much. 1st of all , it was my first ever workshop, I was certainly very nervous. On the day of the workshop , I even thought not going on that morning😋. Anyway I pulled myself together and head to the workshop. Workshop location was good. As I don’t have a car, I took the train and a short Uber ride to the location. As soon as entered the class, I felt so welcome, everyone started introducing. It felted like I knew them for ages. Within few minutes we started the class. The class started with introduction of all of us. Then Bhavna gave out the necessary elements for the class which by the way the best ever instruction anyone can ever get. Bhavna showed us multiple times how to do figures, motifs etc. Once we went through all the papers, it was our time to practice. When we did practice Bhavna walked around every table to check and help out if needed. She showed us how to do feet henna. She also showed us her set up for bridal, even told us what she takes for a bridal henna appointment. At the end , she showed us how she makes her amazing henna paste. 
After the class, we all went to a Indian restaurant and had a blast, we had so much yummy food. I love my henna family.
Bhavna also made a WhatsApp group for all of us where everyone post their work. Bhavna gives her feedback there. She also helps when I get stuck with a element. She sends out step by step instruction. She is the best teacher anyone can ask for.
